You don’t have to go far to find yourself deep in nature: the place invites you to explore, discover and learn about wild life, forest keeping, horticulture and the animals that belong to Mas Vinyoles.

There are cosy and quite corners to enjoy a good breakfast. On the terrace you can drink something while watching pacefully the day passing by. Also you can refresh yourself from the summer heat plunging into the swimming pool. The surroundings hide paths that invite you to go for a walk and enjoy nature.

The hill range “Les Gavarres” is situated between Girona city and the Costa Brava. It is almost entirely covered with forest. You will find here one of the most valuable samples of cork oaks and pines of the country, as well as rare species of Mediterranean flora and fauna. It is for this reason that in 1992 almost 29 000ha of Les Gavarres have been declared PEIN, a protected area.

The Costa Brava begins at the mouth of the river Tordera (Blanes) and ends at the border with France, with over 200 km of coastline. The term Costa Brava was initially published in the Voice of Catalonia on 12 September 1908 by Ferran Agulló. refers to its rustic landscape, full of rocks. On this coast are the Illes Medes where you can make various recreational activities. Aiguamolls de l’Empordà is a must for fans of ornithology.

Girona is a city with a Jewish Call highly recommended visit for a walk through the houses of Onyar Cathedral and other emblematic spots. Also Figueres, with the Dali Museum as a reference.
